How to use the PDF Filler by Jotform
Downloading and accessing the PDF Filler by Jotform from Google Workspace is straightforward. Here’s how it’s done:
- Install the PDF Filler by Jotform from the Google Workspace Marketplace.
- In your Google Drive, locate a PDF or Word document you’d like to convert to an online form. Open the document’s menu by clicking the three-dot icon or right-clicking the document. Select Open with, and then click the PDF Filler by Jotform option.
- Next, in the pop-up windows that open, choose the Google account you’d like to use and agree to provide the PDF Filler by Jotform with access to the account.
- Your document will then open as an online form in the Jotform Smart PDF Forms document builder. Here, you can add form elements, like text boxes and signature fields; move elements around; or remove them. You can map your changes to the original document with simple buttons and drag-and-drop fields and immediately see how the original document layout is affected with the preview pane on the right.
- View the form settings by clicking the Settings button. Here, you can enable Jotform Sign automation to receive an audit trail for each signed document, automatically generate PDFs of submissions, manage notifications, and more.
- When your online form is ready to distribute, click the Publish button. You can easily share it via link, email, or website embed. As always, Jotform offers robust security and data protection, including 256-bit SSL connection, permissions options, GDPR compliance, and more.
