Hi Karen,
I understand that paying for a year when you only need the platform for 4 months is not cost-effective for you. As mentioned in the previous thread, you have the option to downgrade your plan temporarily. But you'll have to do it on the Desktop version of Jotform because it's not available yet on the mobile app. Let me show you how:
- On your My Forms page, click your Profile Image/Avatar icon.
- In the window that opens, click on Settings.
- Under the Billing tab, click on Change Plan.
- Click on the Downgrade button to switch to the Starter (Free) Plan.
Then, you'll see a pop-up window with some extra information about the downgrade. Just follow those instructions to continue with canceling your plan.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

if I downgrade to the free plan when we are not in use. Once I upgrade it
back to the Silver plan will my information forms, etc still be available
to me?

Hello Tonya,
If you downgrade to the Starter (Free) plan when you're not using the platform, all of your forms and data will still be available, but with some limitations. On the Free plan, you'll be limited to 5 forms and 100 MB of storage. If you have more than 5 forms or your stored files exceed 100 MB, you may need to delete or archive some to stay within the free limits. Additionally, your submission limit will drop to 100 submissions per month (compared to 2,500 on the Silver plan), and Jotform branding will appear on your forms.
The good news is that once you upgrade back to the Silver plan, all of your forms and data will be fully restored, and you'll have access to all the additional features again. To be safe and avoid data loss, you can download your data before downgrading. I’ve already shown you how to do this here.
