Hi ricardo021072,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Portuguese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Portuguese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.
Now, let me help you with your question. After checking your account, I have cloned your form that has the input table element. You can shorten the first column on your table just like this:
Let me show you how:
- On your Form Builder, click the input table element's properties and go to Options.
- As you can see in the screenshot, I have removed the table width and column width, so the table will automatically adjust depending on the screen size of your device.
Here is the result on the Published Form:
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi ricardo021072,
We can use Custom CSS code to change the width of the first column. Let me show you how to set it up in your form:
- In the Form builder, click on the blue Roller Paint icon.
- From the Form Designer panel, select the Styles Tab.
- Next, scroll down a bit and inject the following code below inside the Custom CSS area.
/* change table's first column width */
th.form-matrix-headers.form-matrix-column-headers.form-matrix-column_0 {
width: 80px;
}
/* end */
4. Lastly, click on Save.
Give it a try and let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
