Appointment Element: Users are able to select the date even if the form Appointment Limit is reached

Now, let me help you with your question. I am sorry you are having trouble with this. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the problem but, it appears to be working as expected. Check out this screencast below:

I cleared your form's cache to remove the piled-up cache in your form that could be contributing to this problem. If the problem is the same. Please let us know which date are you having trouble with so we can investigate further. Also, can we have your permission to send a submission to your live form to see if we can replicate the problem?
