    ESTOU COM UMA DUVIDA, COMO CONSIGO AUMENTAR O TAMANHO DOS ARQUIVOS QUE POSSO RECEBER POR EMAIL, POR EXEMPLO.

    HA ARQUIVOS QUE NAO CONSIGO ABRIR VIA EMAIL POIS INFORMA QUE O ARQUIVO É MUITO GRANDE, E TENHO QUE NECESSARIAMENTE ABRIR AQUI NA PLATAFORMA, MAS TENHO UM CLIENTE QUE RESPONDE SEU PROPRIO FORMULARIO E TENHO QUE ENVIAR O ARQUIVO PARA ELE NO PRIVADO POIS ELE NAO CONSEGUE ABRIR NO EMAIL.

    Hi Carlos,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Portuguese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Portuguese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

    Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the total size restriction for files attached to Notification or Autoresponder Emails. If you utilize Jotform's Sender Email, file attachments are limited to a total maximum size of 5 MB.

    A workaround is to use an SMTP as the Sender Email in your email notifications. The 5MB limit can be possibly bypassed by configuring your own SMTP as a Sender Email, but this would depend on the email domain server you use.

    In addition, you can disable the Require log-in to view uploaded files option in Privacy Settings on your account's Security page to allow your form fillers to download the uploaded file without requiring them to create or log into their Jotform account. Here's how to disable it:

    1. Go to the Security page.
    2. Uncheck the Require log-in to view uploaded files under the Privacy options.404 error when downloading file Image 1 Screenshot 20 Screenshot 10 Screenshot 10

    Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.

    arquivos de outro, correto?
    Preciso resolver essa questão pois estou utilizando o formulário para envio
    de referências e meu cliente nao consegue abrir o arquivo em seu email

    Hi Carlos,

    Thanks for getting back to us. You can also use your Gmail for sending form emails via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) if you don’t have a business email address. I believe the attachment file size limit is 25MB for Gmail. One requirement when using Gmail SMTP is to enable Two-Step Verification for your Google account. For more information, check out this guide on how to turn on two-step verification.

    After enabling Two-Step Verification, you must create an app-specific password for your Jotform account. Without it, the SMTP will not work. To create an app password, here's how to do it:

    1. Open Google App passwords and sign in to your account.
    2. Click the Mail option from the list of available apps and then Other from the device list.
    3. Enter your preferred app name, then click the Generate button.
    4. Copy and save your app password to your computer.

    6. Once you have your app password, you need to set your Gmail as your custom sender email in Jotform.
    7. Go to the Account Settings page.
    8. Then, edit Sender Emails and click the Add Sender Email button.How to increase the file attachments limit in the email notifications? Image 2 Screenshot 41
    9. In the Add new email address dialog, set up the following configuration:
    • Email Address: {your email address}
    • Hostname: smtp.gmail.com
    • Port: 587 or 465
    • Username: {your Gmail address}
    • Password: {your Gmail app-specific password}
    • Security Protocol: TLS or SSL

    Once you’re done, click the Add Email button to complete the setup. Also, in regards to disabling the Require log-in to view uploaded files option in Privacy Settings, a client can view and download the attachment if they have the link provided in the email notification.

    We also have a guide about How to Use Your Gmail Account as Your Email Sender via SMTP that you can check out.

    Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.
