The platform itself is duplicating the shipments and we need to manually delete the duplicates. FOLLOW LINK TO CHECK: https://form.jotform.com/222327324759661

Hi 01limpezabasaltopiscinas,
Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Duplicate submissions may occur when the Thank You page is not closed after the form is submitted. It can be reloaded later, which will trigger a new submission, causing a duplicate entry. To prevent this behavior, add a Captcha to the form or use an external link as a thank you page to never let the reload action resubmit the form's data. Furthermore, you can enable the unique submission and unique question feature to set a limit on the form access, where a warning message will appear if a user sends a detail that already exists in your submissions. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings and then click on Show More Options.
- In the Form Settings menu, scroll down and select Check Cookies and IP Address in the Unique Submission dropdown menu and select Event for Unique Field.
Also, I suggest you change the Allow Browser Auto-complete to No so that it won't automatically fill the fields when the page is refreshed on the Thank You page. Please refer to the steps and screenshot below:
- In the navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
- On Form Settings, scroll down to show More Options and look for Allow Browser Auto-complete.
- Change the dropdown from Yes or No.
Give it a try and let us know if you need more help.

This isn't helpful for after the form has been created and has begun receiving submissions. How do we easily find and remove duplicates from already submitted entries?

Hi 01limpezabasaltopiscinas,
Thanks for getting back to us. I understand that the form is already created and is receiving submissions, but the suggestions above can be implemented for incoming submissions to avoid duplicate submissions in the future.
You may use our search bar in the Jotform Table to check for duplicates. However, since this task is quite tedious, you can also download your submissions as an Excel file and find and highlight the duplicates. You can use this guide in finding duplicates in Excel.
Give it a try and let us know if you need more help.
