The Alumni Tripod Excellence Awards recognize Members that honor the ideals and mission of Phi Sigma Pi. The honorees must demonstrate leadership and depth in their personal and professional activities, exemplary achievements and demonstrated commitment and goodwill towards the Fraternity.

- An Alumni or Honorary Member in good standing
Recognition
- Presented with recognition memorabilia at the National Award Ceremony

- Honorees will be notified in June
Nomination Procedure
Submission of nomination form with essay (1,500 words or less) regarding the nominee’s worthiness for recognition. The essay should highlight the nominee’s specific achievements (such as education, other awards/honors, publications, professional affiliations, projects they created or inspired, etc…) that qualify the nominee for the award.
Criteria
Excellence in Scholarship: This award recognizes a Member who has demonstrated excellence in scholarly achievement in their respective academic field of study or profession. It celebrates the achievement of an individual who is highly respected and well regarded among their peers for commitment to scholastic endeavors and the individual’s contributions to academia and pursuit of knowledge.
Excellence in Leadership: This award recognizes a Member serving with distinction as a civic leader and/or who has achieved success as a leader within their respective career fields. It honors those whose character and actions demonstrate outstanding leadership that advances the common good.
Excellence in Fellowship: This award recognizes a Member who through their actions have made a positive impact on society. It highlights individuals who may sometimes go unrecognized for their important contributions. Individuals who have quietly, tirelessly, and unselfishly demonstrated outstanding commitment and service to improving and enhancing the quality of life in their local communities and/or global community.
