Beste Jotform Support team,
Ik hoop dat dit bericht jullie in goede gezondheid bereikt. Vorig jaar heb ik met succes een formulier aangemaakt met behulp van Jotform voor de pastaverkoop van onze school. Dit jaar verkopen we opnieuw verschillende pastasoorten en desserts. Om dit te accommoderen, heb ik enkele nieuwe producten aan het formulier toegevoegd.
Ik heb echter een probleem opgemerkt dat dringend aandacht behoeft. Bij deze nieuwe producten staat het standaardaantal ingesteld op "1", en het lijkt niet mogelijk te zijn om dit standaardaantal naar "0" te wijzigen. Dit heeft als ongewenst gevolg dat potentiële klanten min of meer verplicht worden om deze items aan te schaffen, zelfs als ze dit niet van plan zijn.
Dit is een probleem voor onze verkoop, en ik zou het zeer op prijs stellen als jullie dit snel kunnen oplossen. De specifieke producten waarbij dit probleem zich voordoet, zijn Tiramisu, Chocomousse en Spaghetti Scampi Tuinkruiden. Kunnen jullie alsjeblieft de standaardaantallen aanpassen, zodat deze producten niet automatisch met een standaardaantal van "1" worden toegevoegd? Hierdoor zouden potentiële klanten vrij moeten zijn om hun eigen gewenste aantallen te selecteren.

I hope this message finds you well. I want to bring to your attention an issue I am currently facing with a Jotform I created last year for our school's pasta sale. This year, we are once again selling different pasta dishes and desserts, and I had to add some new items to the form.
The problem I've encountered is related to the default quantities for these new products. I have noticed that the default quantity is set to "1," and I am unable to change it to a default quantity of "0." This is causing potential customers to be essentially required to purchase these items, even if they do not intend to do so.
This issue is negatively affecting our sales, and I kindly request that you address it as soon as possible. The specific products affected by this problem are Tiramisu, Chocomousse, and Spaghetti Scampi Tuinkruiden. I have included the link to the form below for your reference:

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m really sorry that this is happening. Unfortunately, our Dutch Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Dutch, let us know, and we can have them do that. But keep in mind that you'll have to wait until they're available again.
Now, let me help you with your question. I'm afraid we can't set 0 as the default quantity. We made a change to the quantity feature a while ago to prevent the form owner and form filler from entering "0" as an input. With those changes, we hoped to prevent people from submitting forms without making the necessary payments.
Also, we recently made some changes to avoid creating new products with a quantity range of "0-10." Since none of your products are selected by default, I recommend that you change all quantities to 1.

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to discuss a recent decision that has left me somewhat puzzled. It pertains to the removal of the option to set a default quantity of "0" in Jotform, which was previously a useful feature to prevent form submissions without the required payments.
I understand the need for preventing incomplete submissions, but eliminating the option to set a default quantity to "0" seems to have created an unintended issue. As it stands, all products now default to "1," which means users are essentially forced to purchase at least one of each product, even if they do not wish to do so. This doesn't provide the flexibility we need for our form.
My concern is that this new setup doesn't allow users to make a choice between different products. They are compelled to buy at least one of each product, which isn't ideal for our use case.
I am reaching out to seek clarification and explore potential solutions. Is there an alternative approach to address the issue of incomplete submissions without limiting users' choices and flexibility? Are there widgets or other settings we can implement to strike a balance between preventing incomplete submissions and allowing users to customize their orders?
I believe there might be a more user-friendly solution that ensures both complete submissions and user choice. I would greatly appreciate your guidance and support in resolving this matter, as it is essential for our ongoing operations.
