Salesforce integratie: File Upload veld niet beschikbaar bij 'Find existing record'

    Beste,

    Wij willen graag gebruik maken van de Salesforce integratie om een bestaande Salesforce record bij te werken met data uit het Jotform formulier. We willen graag in een Salesforce Opportunity een veld laten vullen met de URL van een bestand dat via Jotform in een 'Upload File' veld is geupload.

    Maar wanneer ik in de configuratie klik op 'Find existing record' dan kan ik dit Jotform veld niet selecteren. Bij 'Create a new record' wél, maar dat is niet de bedoeling.

    Thanks for your e-mail!
    Let me try to explain our issue..
    Were trying to update existing Salesforce records with the updated Jotform/Salesforce integration.
    In our form were using an Upload file field so customers can share some images with us.
    But within Update an existing record this Upload file field cant be found/selected in the dropdown:

    But within Create a record this Upload file field can be found/selected in the dropdown:
    [cid:image002.png@01DA000F.641C59E0]
    Why is this? Whats the main reason for missing this field when updating an existing record? In our customer journey its the next step after creating a record, so for us it is very important.

    Thank you for your reply. In this instance, you would need to use Create a record. I think it has to do with the way the integration for the update works between the platforms, which makes that a little bit confusing. Once the user submits a form, Jotform then sends the values to Salesforce. If Salesforce detects duplicates using the standard matching rules, Jotform will be notified. After turning on the Update Record option, Jotform will try to find the original record using search parameters for the corresponding record type. And Jotform will then try to update this record.

    Thanks for your quick reply!
    What you say, does not work.
    This is how we want to work:
    1. We send a link to a existing customer in Salesforce to our Jotform form. In a hidden field the Opportunity ID is prefilled, based on parameters in the URL.
    2. Our customer uploads a few images in our Jotform form with the Upload file field.
    3. Once the customer submits the form, Jotform checks for duplicates based on the matching Opportunity ID. So theres always a duplicate because its 100% an existing Salesforce record.
    4. The existing Salesforce record needs to be updated with the values from the Upload file field.
    Step 4 it is still impossible because I CAN NOT connect the Upload File field to an Salesforce field. This Upload file field is not visible in the dropdown with Jotform fields to map/connect to Salesforce:

    So my question is..
    Why is this Upload file field only visible in the dropdown beneath Create a record and not in the dropdown beneath Update an existing record?
