Amount of seats selected in Multiselect Grid

Hi,

I would like to sell tickets for an event with seating arrangement.

The calculate the total price, I need the amount of selected seats. Is there a way to know the amount of selected seats?

btw I saw a similar request here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1898066-multiselect-grid-widget-count-the-number-of-selected-slots-when-used-on-calculation It was stated there that a feature request was done for such a feature. I was wondering if this was already possible, and how?

Thank you for the response, I have tried this method, but I don't find how I can use that technique for a multi-select grid, because a multi-select grid doesn't have the ability to count the amount of selected seats.

I would like to know the amount of selected seats in the grid, and not ask the user to fill in the quantity themselves. Otherwise they could select for example 5 seats, but only specify that they have selected 4 (and thus pay for 4).
