How to Show Hidden Fields using Conditions

Ik wil een formulier maken waarbij ik in de eerste stap vraag wat de algemene vraag is van de klant. ik wil bijna alle vragen die volgen verbergen en alleen nog die tonen die altijd gesteld worden.

Als een klant dan kiest voor "ik heb een vraag over een product" wil ik eerst dat hij toont welke productgroepen er zijn, daarna wil ik nog een stap verder gaan om de categorie in die productgroep aan te duiden. Dan moet dus 1 van de productgroepen naar voren komen die de klant moet selecteren.

Hoe doe ik dit zonder dat de balk onderaan alle stappen die potentieel nog kunnen komen weergeeft. Als ik alles laat staan dan heb ik onderin 20 of meer opties en als ik alles verberg via conditioneel logic en vervolgens het veld weer wil laten tonen als de productgroep gekozen is kom ik op een lege pagina terecht omdat ie eerder is verborgen.

Now, coming back to your question, I checked your form titled 'Contactformulier Obelink' and I see that elements are already hidden on the form. You don't need to add conditions again to hide these elements. Instead, you add conditions when to show them. To explain this, I made a simple form to illustrate this:

1. I have 9 elements and 3 of these are hidden. As you can see in the Preview, we can only see 6 questions. Those 3 questions are hidden by default. There is no need to add a condition to hide them.

2. I want to show the 3 questions when I filled in the Star Rating field. So, my condition will be like this:

3. When I fill up the Star Rating field, the number of questions will turn from 6 to 9. See my screenshot below:

And that's it. To hide a field, you don't need to add a condition. Just do it in the element's Properties. Here's how to do it:

• Click on the gear icon on the right side of the element to open up the Properties panel on the right.
• Under the Advanced tab, Toggle On the Hide Field option. And the element is now hidden.

Once that is done, just add the condition to show the hidden fields.
