Hi,

Hi,
I would like to send a form to the person who fills in the form.
In the form I ask for his/her email address, but I can't manage to get the mail sent to that address. Please tell me how to solve this.

Hi Gr. Daan,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Dutch Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Dutch, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question. Jotform has two types of emails, these are the Notification and the Autoresponder email. The Notification email is what's sent to the form owner or email address specified on the recipient. The Autoresponder email is what's sent to the responder upon form submission. Let me show you how to set that up:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
- Now, click on Add an Email.
- Then, select Autoresponder Email.
- Customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.
- On the Recipients tab, click on the dropdown options of the Recipient Email and then select the Email field.
You mentioned "mail" in your question, if you're referring to the physical mail to the responders, Jotform don't have this feature yet. You can only send Notification and Autoresponder email.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
