How do we identify which affiliate filled out our form?

Wij gebruiken Jotform voor aanvragen / leadformulieren op onze website. Wij werken echter ook met affiliates en willen graag een affiliate code in het Jotform formulier verwerken zodat we kunnen zien welke leads bij welke affiliates vandaan komen. Elke affiliate heeft dan een eigen affiliate code/link.

Het gaat niet om producten die direct worden gekocht / betaald maar om aanvragen voor offertes.

Is dit mogelijk met Jotform?

If I understand your question correctly, you'd like to be able to track where your form was accessed? If so, the easiest way to do this is to use the Get Referrer or Get URL widget on your form. Let me show you how to add that to your form:

• In Form Builder, click on the Add Element button on the left and select the Widgets tab.
• Next, search and select for Get Referrer or/and Get URL widget to add them to your form.
  

These widgets will automatically save the referrer link or the URL where the form is filled out on submission. Another method that can be done is to create a hidden field in your form, and prepopulating it through URL parameters while embedded on your website. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Most affiliates promote our products on their own website or on socials. Is it possible to add the same unique affiliate link then on their website or posts?

Thanks for getting back to us. Yes, the best way to do that is to ask them to use a customized iFrame embed code that includes the URL parameter to prefill the hidden field automatically. Let me show you an example:

• In my form, I created a short text field like so:
  
• I then generated prepopulated URL parameters using the Field Prepopulator App and created the link below:

  https://form.jotform.com/240932175438055?testHidden=providername

• If I used this link, it will automatically populate the field like so:
• Now, we need to get the iFrame code under the Publish tab, in the Embed section
  
• Replace the SRC field with the prepopulated URL and use that to embed the forms to your affiliates website.
  

The value on the prepopulated URL parameter can be updated based on which affiliate will be using the code. That's it.
