Terms & Conditions
The student assumes all related risks and responsibilities of using a bed loft.
The University does not sell, endorse, or permit the use of bed lofts sold by private vendors or personally constructed bed lofts in any University residence hall.
University bed lofts are non-transferable to other students.
New and transfer students may not request a bed loft until they have been officially accepted to Lee University and the Office of Residential Life and Housing has received their $200 housing deposit.
Flammable decorative materials, such as paneling, netting, curtains, etc., are not to be attached to the loft.
A bed loft must not block a potential fire exit, including window(s) and doors. An access lane to the window, at least as wide as the doorway, must be unblocked and uncovered at all times.
Preference will be given to students in traditional style residence halls before moving to students in apartments.
Reservations are then honored on a first-come, first-serve basis, dependent on the receipt of your online Bed Loft Reservation form
Bed lofts are only available for rent for a full academic semester or year. No partial refunds will be returned to the student if they decide to return the bed loft partway through the semester or year. Replacement with a standard bed will occur within two weeks of receiving removal request.
Your $250 bed loft yearly rental fee is non-refundable after August 1st.
Your $125 bed loft spring semester rental fee is non-refundable after January 10th (this option is contigent on bed loft availaility after yearly rentals).
If your assignment changes prior to move-in, your bed loft request will still be active and relocated to your new assignment at the discretion of the Housing staff. The status of your request will be contingent on your assignment, as priority is given to traditional style dorms. If your new assignment is an apartment or townhome, it is likely your bed loft will be forfeited and you will be refunded.

Next Steps
Students that have successfully reserved a bed loft will receive an email from the housing office on July 22nd (or January 6th for Spring semester rentals only) with instructions on how to make their payment.
Recipients will have until August 1st (or January 10th for Spring semester only) to make their payment before we begin to move down the waitlist.
All other students will receive an email explaining that they have been placed on the waitlist.
