Job Application Privacy Notice
Thank you for your application to Jotform. We adhere to the requirements of all applicable privacy laws, including both the EU and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a data controller. If you have any questions about Jotform’s privacy policy, you may contact us using this form.
Categories of Personal Data
When you submit an application for a job role with Jotform, we will receive, store and review your personal data and any documentation containing such information, including resumes that you send to us. The categories of personal data will include name, postal address, contact email and telephone information, previous employment and educational background, and other information relating to the job application which may personally identify you. We do not deploy automated decision making without human intervention or profiling on your personal data records.
Legal basis
Jotform processes your personal data in order to review your application for various roles to which you have applied, and we do so on the basis of our legitimate business interests. We believe we have a legal basis for collecting this information, including as part of facilitating the hiring process and our employees’ employment with Jotform.
Processing activity
Your personal data will be held in a data center in the European region, or the United States. The data may be accessible between different Jotform entities in different countries as we deem necessary. We have conducted an assessment of the security of each region and implemented standard contractual clauses with third party processors based outside of the European region. Data Retention
If you are not ultimately hired, your personal data will be retained for a maximum period of one year from the point at which you applied for a job with us. If you are hired by Jotform, this data will be retained in our HR database and a staff privacy notice will be provided to you.
Your Privacy Rights
If you are an EU data subject you have certain rights contained in Chapter 3 of the GDPR, including the right to have personal data erased, and the right to access your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing of personal data, and can notify us at any time. We will comply with your requests in accordance with our legal obligations.
