If you want to have a separate dropdown or text field and want that your user should choose an ID from that field and after that Jotform automatically perform an action and populate the fields, you'll have to enable this option. Additionally, if you enable this option, user don't need to click on Auto Complete fields. This guide will explain you more about this feature.
