Salesforce: Time element was not properly pushed to Salesforce, there is time difference

    Salesforce

    Hi mtamehiro,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Japanese Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Japanese, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Yes, you can update records in Jotform. Once the user submits a form, Jotform then sends the values to Salesforce. If Salesforce detects duplicates using the standard matching rules, Jotform will be notified. After turning on the Update Record option, Jotform will try to find the original record using search parameters for the corresponding record type. Jotform will then try to update this record.

Check out this guide on How to Integrate Jotform with Salesforce.

Keep us updated and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Waqas,

(I am emailing you using translation software)

    Thanks for the reply.

I was able to set it up after looking at the guide you shared.

I have one more question, there is a survey item called "サービス稼働時間(Service uptime)", but I am having trouble with it because the answers I gave in jotform and the record display in salesforce are different.

Is there any way to fix this?

    Hi mtamehiro,

I tested on end to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screenshot below to see my results:

Can you try to share your form URL so we can take a look at it?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

    Hi Waqas,

    Many thanks for the testing.

The items other than "サービス稼働時間(Service uptime)",are working fine, so maybe the problem is only happening with the Salesforce data type of "time".

I will share the URL of the form.

    Hi mtamehiro,

After more checking into this, I am able to replicate the issue in my cloned form:

So I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Salesforce: Time element was not properly pushed to Salesforce, there is time difference Image 1 Screenshot 20I posted this in another inquiry a few minutes ago, but I don't know if it was a system failure or what, but I can't get the inquiry to post properly, so here is the content.

How to re-edit the responses you have entered

We are considering sending the survey once completed and then again a year later and asking the client to respond only to the changes.

We would like to send the client a survey form with past responses manually, not automatically.

I was able to get as far as adding the {edit_link} tag to the email in the editor, but I don't know how to manually send the email after that.

    Hi mtamehiro,

Adding an Email Button to your Jotform Table is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, select your form and click on Submissions at the top of the page.
    2. In Jotform Tables, click on the Add button at the end of the rows, and go to the Buttons tab.
    3. Now, select Send Email, click on Next, and select the Email template.
    4. Now, just click on Create and you're done.

Now, when you click on the Send Email button, an email that includes the submission information will be sent to the email address you selected.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

    Thank you for your reply.

Salesforce: Time element was not properly pushed to Salesforce, there is time difference Image 1 Screenshot 20It was very easy to understand, you even attached a video on how to use it.

    I have one more question.

Regarding the “recipient's email(受信者のEメール)” in the autoresponder email, we don't have an “email address” field in the survey questions.

Is it possible to use the autoresponder feature without that field in the survey?

Also, if I do have an “email address” field, is there any way to send a re-response email to a different person if the person in charge has changed?

    Hi mtamehiro,

The autoresponder email template won't work if you don't have an email field that will act as its recipient email. You can use the Change Email Recipient condition feature to change the form's email notification's recipient email based on the user's answer.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

    Hi, Rene

    Thanks for the reply.

    I understand about the specifications.

Is it possible to create a separate email (Outside of the jotform system. e.g. Google mail.)and paste just the “edit link” in the attached screenshot into it, without using the jotform auto-reply?

Is there somewhere I can get this link?

(Because I could not find where I can get the edit link)

    Best regards

    Marin

    Hi Marin,

To confirm, do you mean to add an edit link of your other email to the form's autoresponder email? If so, yes, you can add a link to the email content. To get the edit link, you'll just have to click the Form Fields button as shown in the screenshot below:

    Hi, Rene

Sorry my explanation was not accurate enough.

What I mean is that I want the URL of the "edit link(編集リンク)" of jotform to be pasted onto the various other E-mails such as (gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail, specific provider mail,etc...)
