Email spam

Buonasera. Sto ricevendo centinaia di email spam al giorno e non ho mai utilizzato (nè mi sono iscritta) i vostri servizi. Non voglio più ricevere messaggi da voi. Grazie.

Grazie per aver contattato il supporto tecnico di Jotform. Il nostro sito offre un servizio per la costruzione e la personalizzazione di moduli online. Ho notato che hai inoltrato la richiesta da un account ospite e non da un account iscritto al nostro sito. Inoltre, non inviamo alcuna email ai nostri utilizzatori se non quelle relative ai nostri servizi o ai moduli in questione. Come si può vedere dallo screenshot da te inviato, il mittente delle mail non è Jotform quindi, ti invito a contattare l'assistenza dei mittenti per richiedere la rimozione dalla mailing list.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention,

We want to assure you that Jotform is not sending you the emails about which you have notified us. It seems that in this case a third party is engaged in “phishing”, where they “spoof” another party’s email address to make it appear that the emails are coming from the impersonated party (Jotform in this case), when in fact that party is sending them.

Due to the nature of the email protocols, it is up to each email provider (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, outlook) to validate the identity of senders, and unfortunately, it appears that your email provider is not enforcing this validation, so while Jotform has taken all possible precautions, email spoofing is outside of our control.

We take Jotform security issues very seriously, and we do what we can on technical and other levels to ensure the security of our users’ accounts, but unfortunately, Jotform, like virtually every other legitimate company, is not immune from nor can we control malicious actors who send such spam.
