Geolocation entries disappeared after updating the API key

    Buongiorno, alcuni giorni fa ho generato una API KEY di google maps platform.

    Ho poi inserito la chiave nei miei forms; tutto sembrava funzionare al meglio. Poi ieri mi sono accorto, osservando i dati provenienti dai miei forms che la geolocalizzazione (coordinate lat. e long.) erano sparite.

    sono presenti solo negli ultimi 3 forms inviati, negli altri le coordinate sono sparite!! questa cosa è successa in tutti i nostri moduli.

    Vorremmo recuperare le coordinate relative a tutti i nostri moduli che sono andate perse, perchè per noi è un dati molto importanti.

    good morning. A few days ago, I created a google maps key to insert into your "geolocation" widget inside my forms. After a few days I realized that the localization data had disappeared in the forms sent previously. Now you can see in my form reports, the coordinates of the last 4-5 forms that have been filled out. The other position data are missing. Is it possible to restore lost positions?

    Hi GuardaMI,

    Thanks for getting back to us.  Yes, a feature known as Revision History in the submission table could be used to revert the submission table to a previous point. Please check the below screencast on how to do it.

    Please note that the above option will only work if you have not removed the field from the form builder. I checked your form revision history and I can see that you removed the Widget on Fri, Jul 7, 2023, and added a new widget back. Once you delete a widget or field in the form builder the submission data associated with the widget or the field will also be deleted and it is not possible to recover it therefore I have canceled the escalation as well. When you try to delete a widget or a field that has submission data the form shows the below warning message:

    You can check the form revision history by following the below steps and screenshot:

    1. At the top of the Form Builder page, click on the Timestamp under the title of the Form to open the Revision History.
    2. Choose the version you want to restore the form to in the menu on the right side of the page.
    3. Now, just click on Revert next to the version you want to revert it to. That’s it.
