As for your question, to clarify, are you perhaps trying to view a submission through the link sent via email? If so, the 404 error you are seeing means you are not logged in to your Jotform account. When you enable the Require to log in options in your Privacy settings, you will need to be logged in to your account when you want to either:

• view submissions.
• view uploaded files.
• view submission RSS.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? Can you send us some screenshots of what’s happening? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.
