Good evening,
we have a Silver plan and are trying to build our routine with JotForm. We would need the following clarifications:
- Our client buys a collection kit for a medical test online, using a Jotform form called “purchase form”, built using Jotform resources for purchase and payments. Is it possible to have multiple purchase forms that send data to the same table? For example, we need to have a purchase form in Euro and one in USD, but we would like to have customer purchase data in a single table. It's possible?
- We process the order.
- After some time, the same customer should register using another Jotform form, called the “kit registration form”, and enter a unique identification code of the kit sold in phase 1 and some personal medical information. There is the possibility for the customer to already find some of the information provided with the "purchase form", ie there is the possibility to connect the two forms and the two data tables, so that we too can access the data in a unitary way , from a single table?
- Some time after receipt of the data referred to in point 3), we must prepare a report for each customer, which in practice represents the outcome of the exam purchased, integrating some of the information provided by the customer in point 3, and present then in the “kit registration form” table with other information imported from an .xls file external to Jotform, different for each customer. We thought of importing this information using the widget to import data from a datasheet, by entering an initial identification code which could be the kit registration code. It's possible? In this case, would the data be imported into the "kit registration form" table or is it possible to create another one, for example "processing form"?
- By importing the data with the widget, it is possible to use the conditional logic of the form, in order to generate the values of some fields that we would then insert in a pdf (which would represent the result of the test to be delivered to the customer? For example, we thought of create in the "processing form" a field like "You are exposed to the risk of hypertension" answer YES or NO, and make sure that the value of this field becomes YES or NO based on the value of a field imported through the widget, for example “if V1 = A,“ YES ”Is it possible?
- How can we then create a pdf with the result of the answers?
- Is it possible to arrange for the processing data to complete the initial form filled in by the customer, so that he can then access the answers? That is, that the customer finds, after some time, a subsequent part of the completed form (actually filled in by us), perhaps through the tool to pre-populate the fields?
- Data protection: is it possible for the customer to access only his own form, through his own ID kit?
- Is it possible to access the data of the tables in a different form, for example with forms, such as customer management, or to export this data to some compatible app?
- In the "e-commerce" forms, it's possible to add the payment method "bank transfer2?
Thanks!

Hello,
Here are my responses to each of your questions:
- It is not possible to get multiple purchase data in a single table directly. But on your Tables submission page, you can create multiple tabs and import other purchase order form data into one form submission page. Please check this related guide for more information: https://www.jotform.com/help/1002-how-to-get-data-from-other-forms-in-jotform-tables
- Could you let us know is your query regarding the processing of the order? You can download the submissions as excel or PDF: https://www.jotform.com/help/73-how-to-download-form-submissions-as-excelcsvpdf
- You can pass on form data from one form to another. So when the client fills the "Kit registration form" they will already find information from the previous form. Here is a useful guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-how-to-automatically-pass-form-data-to-another-form
- When you use the above guide to pass on data, the submission from the "Kit registration form" will contain information from the previous form as well. So you can get that data also from your Form submission (tables) page.
- Sorry, but which widget are you referring to? Is it the Spreadsheet to Form widget?
- As soon as you receive a submission for your form, you can get that information into a PDF document and customize the same from your PDF Editor as explained here: https://www.jotform.com/help/384-how-to-customize-pdf-submissions-report
- Sorry, but this question is a bit confusing. Could you explain further on this requirement? Would the customer edit their submission at a later date to find the information filled by you?
- If you enable the autoresponder email on the form, the customer will only receive their data in their email address after they submit the form.
- Yes, as explained in point 1 above, you can link multiple form data into one form on the Tables submission page.
- I believe you are referring to the Purchase order payment field. Please note that in one form, you can add only one payment field. If you want multiple payment fields, you may check out this option to create a multi-payment form: https://www.jotform.com/help/182-how-to-create-a-basic-multiple-payment-form
Do review and let us know your updates.

assistenzaclientiRisposta del 5 gennaio 2021 alle ore 08:55Very thanks.
Regarding question 1.
You told us that we can have in one only table the data collected in different forms creating a new table and connecting the table with te forms, right?
I see this is possible creating new column in the new table, and connecting the new column with the form were data are collected, right?
But, I think, we need to add new row, and not new columns, in the new table!
For example, if we sell our services using two different payment forms, in each of this forms a row is a customer, and in the columns there are the items related withthe sale. So, when we merge in one only table the data from the two payment forms, what we need is to have a list of customers, obtaind bythe payment form 1 and the payment form 2, and in the table each customer must be a row. Do you agree? can we obtain this?
Again regarding question 1.
When we have the data in a new merged table, how we can use this data? We can use this data from this table to prepopulate a form? or to fill a .pdf file?
Regarding question 5.
Yes, we mean the "Spreadsheet to Form widget"
Additional question: Its possible to use APIs to kink and automate the use of the forms and table in a custom CRM?
Thanks!

Hi, assistenzaclienti.
Unfortunately, there is no way to add a new row from another table/form in a table. For example, we cannot merge the data from your two payment forms in a single table to create new rows. If that is what would work better for you, we can raise it to our developers as a feature request.
I think you can have one main form from where you collect your customer data and add new columns to populate the payment method they used. Here a simple example of adding extra information from another form/table to your table. You have to select the data manually.
When we have the data in a new merged table, how we can use this data? We can use this data from this table to prepopulate a form? or to fill a .pdf file?
There is no way to prepopulate this data from a table on another form, only from form to form.
Complete guide 👉 how-to-automatically-pass-form-data-to-another-form
You can download the data on a PDF by following the guide below.
Complete guide 👉 how-to-download-form-submissions-as-excelcsvpdf
Are you collecting the user data on a main for and redirecting the user to a payment form? If yes, you can use a link that prepopulates the information from the main form in the payment form. This way, each payment form will have a full row with customer data. Here is a form example. Please, fill this with dummy data to be redirected to another form. In your case, the prepopulated fields of your FORM 2(Payment Form) would be hidden.
Regarding question 5.
Yes, we mean the "Spreadsheet to Form widget"
You can use the widget to prepopulate fields and use a condition based on this prepopulated field to update another field's value. Here is a useful guide:

Additional question: Its possible to use APIs to kink and automate the use of the forms and table in a custom CRM?
Please, check if we have a direct integration with the CRM you are using. If we don't have, I don't know if you can do that. I recommend you to read Jotform API Documentation.
Lastly, to avoid confusion between questions and isolate your doubts, I recommend opening a new ticket to each of your inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.
