Jotform Approvals: Approver takes action and the requestor will get an email about the status of the request

Domanda del 31 gennaio 2024 alle ore 03:22

    Buongiorno,

Avete qualche suggerimento?

    Vi ringrazio,

    Andrea Ventura

    Hi Andrea,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Italian Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Italian, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Your requirement can be achieved using the Jotform Approval feature. I checked your account and found that you have 18 forms. If you can share the link to your form, I can check it out and help you with a solution.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hi Chris,
    Thanks for your reply.
    My form link is https://form.jotform.com/220821996716060

When a request is submitted, the backoffice check it and I should like to send a feedback to the submitter of the current status of his request.
The status could be, for example, "working in progress", "solved", etc.
When the backoffice change the status the submitter receives an email containing the current status.

    Hi Andrea,

Thanks for sharing the link to the form. To achieve this, you will need to add an Email field to your form. The form respondent will their email address to that field, once the Approver takes action, a notification email will be sent to them. I can walk you through setting that up:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Basic tab, drag and drop the Email element to your form.Jotform Approvals: Approver takes action and the requestor will get an email about the status of the request Image 1 Screenshot 60
