Retrieve data from onother source to plot it in Jotform while the form is being filled out

    The situation is as follows:

I want to display data during the form filling process that is not within the form but is stored in HubSpot, rather than Make, or in a cloud.

Data structure I want to pass:

The data I need to display is a list of products that the customer has previously chosen and that I have created through Make.com.

    Form steps:

The customer enters a code into a Jotform module they received previously. This code is unique to them and corresponds to where their data is stored. I can recognize the customer through this code.

From here, I need to find a way to show them this data. This can be done with a widget that calls a PDF from a repository using an URL like http://www.example.com/{customer_code_entered_by_them}, rather than using other methods such as custom code. I can transform the data as needed through Make.

    How can I achieve this?

    Hello Wolamann,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I will need information about what you are trying to achieve, can you provide more details and some scenarios? It would allow us to understand if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

Also, if you have a form that you are already working on, can you share with us the URL or the title of the form for us to have a closer look? What I understand is you want to have a HubSpot prefill to pre-populate the form before giving it to the user to fill it out and complete the details, we have a guide on how to prefill your form using data from HubSpot.

Since you mentioned a code that was provided before, and if you have a spreadsheet of the form submissions, I suggest using the Spreadsheet to Form widget. This will allow the users to enter the unique code and the form fields will be auto-populated. Here is a guide on how to use the Spreadsheet to Form widget.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain more information so I can help you better?

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

i need an excel that can be dynamic and that automatically is updated in jotform, like if it is on the cloud and jotform always takes the last version of that file

    Hi Wolamann,

Thank you for getting back to Jotform Support and providing additional information. Unfortunately, the Spreadsheet to Form widget does not give the function to have a dynamic Excel or spreadsheet. That's why you must update the uploaded Excel file depending on your needs.

I want to get more information on what you mentioned, "I want to display data during the form filling process that is not within the form but is stored in HubSpot, rather than Make, or in a cloud." and "The customer enters a code into a Jotform module they received previously. This code is unique to them and corresponds to where their data is stored. I can recognize the customer through this code.". How or where did they get the code? Did they fill out another form initially?

Once we hear back from you, we will further assist you.
