Deux petites questions techniques

    Bonjour,

    Hi jeannoelamato,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Regrading your 1st question, you can use the floor function, it will round down the number to the closest number. You can use the ceil function. You can check calculation math function on this guide about Form Calculation: Math Function Reference.

    • Go to Calculation Widget field
    • Click on wand icon to open calculation widget settings
    • Click on 3 dots to see more options, and add math functions

Regarding your 2nd question, can you please provide a little more details? As per hours entered in date time field, do you want to skip pages?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    #Great.

For rounding off it works. Great for rounding off.

(I have some results saved, how do I edit the answers manually, for the few answers already saved in tables ?)

For the second question: I'd like to generate a graph with the times given by the respondents on the abscissa and the calculated averages on the ordinate ?

    Hi Jean-Noël,

Thanks for getting back to us. We're glad to know that the rounding-off works with your use case. As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    OK Thanks

Otherwise, I can't manually change the results in the tables.

If I want to change a number in a box, what should I do?

    Hello jeannoelamato,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you need to edit the number in the form calculation field, you need to edit the value in the field associated with the calculation. See this:

Or you can edit the submission and then resubmit. Let me show you how:

    1. On the Tables page, click on the submission that needs editing and then click on the view button located at the top of the page.
    2. Once the submission is opened, click on the three-dot icon located at the top of the view page and select Edit Entry.
    3. Edit the value of the field and then submit the submission.

Give it a try and reach out to us again if you have more questions.

That's almost what I'd like to do, basically there's an average that's calculated f(x), I've modified it so that the new answers are rounded with "floor", it works well, but I'd like to modify the old answers, do I have to reason all the answers or can I directly round the results that have already been recorded by hand in the table?

    Hi Jean-Noël,

Thanks for getting back to us. You can inline update submissions in your form table, but not the form calculation widget F(x) cell. You'll need to update the other cells instead. Let me show you how:

    • Go to your Submission Table.
    • Click inside a Cell and enter the new value.

Deux petites questions techniques Image 1 Screenshot 20 We also have a guide about How to Edit Submissions Made on Your Forms that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
