    J'aimerais savoir pourquoi j'ai ce message d'erreur lorsque je fait mon premier appel API : Status Code Error: 401

Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

    Now, let me help you with your question. The API: Status Code Error: 401  means you exceeded the limit for the API calls you can do daily. For the Starter Plan, you have 1,000 daily API call limits. Your forms would work, and users can view your forms, but some widgets might not function properly because of this.

    You can upgrade your account to have a higher daily API call limit or wait for the limit to reset at midnight Eastern Standard Time zone.

    I understand the meaning of the 401 error code, but it's puzzling because I haven't made any API calls today, yet I received this message indicating that I've exceeded my limit. Is it possible that there's a system error or a miscalculation in the daily count on my account? Could you please help me look into my usage details to understand why I'm seeing this error?

    Also, could there be any other reasons for this status code that I might need to address? If the issue persists, I might consider upgrading, but I first want to ensure that the current plan's limits are being tracked and applied correctly.

    Thank you for getting back to us and bringing this to our attention. I understand that you haven't made any API calls recently, yet you received a 401 error code indicating that you've exceeded your limit. This can be puzzling, and I would be happy to help you investigate this issue.

    I have checked the API key usage on your account through the Jotform API page, but it's showing me that you still have 999 counts left on your API limit, as shown in the screenshot below.

    You can also check it from your end. Let me show you how:

    1. 1. Open the Jotform Developers API and choose any API calls on the left.
    2. 2. Enter your API key in the "apikey" field under the Test Console.
    3. 3. Click on the "Try it out" button.
    4. 4. Look for "limit-left" in the response. This will display the number of remaining API requests you have for the day. Below is an example of the result that you should be showing.
