    Hello,

I need to prefill dropdown lists with Data from other forms. For example i have a PRODUCT FORM that is updated regularly, and i have an ORDER FORM . In the ORDER FORM, i have a dropdown list with my list of products available. I need to dynamically get this list from the PRODUCT FORM submissions. Is this doable in Jotform ?

    Hi Arona,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To clarify, do you want to automatically populate the lists or options in the Dropdown element from another submission table? If so, unfortunately, it is not possible. You need to add the lists manually in the Dropdown element.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? It would also help us understand if you can provide the form URL of the ORDER FORM and PRODUCT FORM.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Arona_order,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Prefilling your form using another form is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, then click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen.
    2. Now, click on Prefill in the menu on the left side of the screen, and then select Form Prefill.
    3. Select the form that you want to prefill from, then choose the fields you want to take data from.
    4. Click on Save Settings, and that’s it.
