    Bonjour,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I created a Sign Document and opened it on Firefox, but everything worked the way it was supposed to. Check out the screenshot below to see my results:

Can you explain a bit more about the issue you're having so that I can have a better idea of what's going on and help you with a solution? Is this only happening to a specific Sign Document or multiple? Can you share with us the URL of the Sign Document you're referring to? Also, if you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.

After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

    Hi Ruan,

Is there a minimum software configuration for mac: firefox and Mac Os?

This means that if a Mac Os catalina or Mac Os Big Sur is running the latest version of Firefox or not, will Documents Sign work correctly?

I've tried this on a Mac M1 running Sonoma, and it does indeed work.

But I have customers who don't all care about 'Updates' 😓

So telle me, is there a minimum software configuration ?

    Thks a lot

    Hi Ruan

Sorry for translation : I repeat

    Hi Frédéric,

I understand the issue, but I need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we look into this.

    Hi Frédéric,

I tested a sign document form using Mac OS and Firefox to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything worked properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results as I tried to access the sign document on Firefox version 114, which was released in June 2022, on macOS Sonoma. This is the minimum version where you can access the sign document form.

For Mac OS Safari, the minimum version where I can access the sign document is Safari 15.6 on macOS Monterey, which was released in September 2021.

For clients unable to update immediately, offer the signed documents as downloadable PDFs as a temporary solution. I understand your concern about ensuring all your clients can access the Sign Document feature regardless of their browser or OS version. But it's important to always encourage your clients to regularly update their applications and systems to ensure better security, performance, and compatibility with essential tools. Neglecting updates can lead to technical issues and eventually force major updates when older versions become obsolete and unsupported. Staying updated is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and avoiding service interruptions.

To further check, you can also send me the link to your form so I can take a look at it for you, or screenshot of the purple page and browser's console log while the issue is happening. Check out this guide on how to send a screenshot to our Support Forum and the guide on how to Get a Console Report from Most Common Browsers.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
