    Merci

    Hello Everaert,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, I’ll need a bit of time to look into this and check if we can conditionally tag a submission using the Facebook Pixel Widget. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hello Everaert,

I see that your OPUS form is the one that has a Facebook Pixel Widget, but I couldn't find any connected conditions in it. I cloned your form and added a condition that skips your respondents to the Facebook Widget and directs them to the Thank You Page later on. Let me show you how it's set up:

    • In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    • Click on Conditions on the left side of the screen, and then choose a Change Thank You Page and set it up then Save.
    • While you are in the Condition section, go to the ENABLE/REQUIRE/MASK FIELD condition and disable the widget when the same trigger is met.

    • Aside from setting up the conditions below, you also need to direct the respondents to the last page where the Submit button is located to display the custom Thank You page.

Check out the screencast below to see my results:

We also have a guide about How to Enable or Disable Fields Using Conditional Logic and How to Change Your Thank You Message Conditionally that you can check out. If the submission is still being tagged as a lead by the Facebook Pixel, please let us know so we can check and find other workarounds.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Hello, Facebook always tags the prospect, even when skipping the pixel widget: https://www.loom.com/share/838b051bc95246a6ba6ee3f982e9e54b

    Hi Romain,

Can you disable Submit Application and enable Complete Registration instead? Let me show you how you can enable it:

    1. In Form Builder, scroll down and select the Facebook Pixel widget.
    2. Click on the Wand icon on the right side of the widget.
    3. Under Events to Track, untick the Submit Application option and tick the Complete Registration option.
    4. Once you're done, click on Update Widget below and that's it.

This changes nothing. The pixel event is activated when the ‘submit’ button is clicked, that's the problem. Because we can indicate an error message when the person clicks on submit but hasn't respected the conditions beforehand, but the person will have to click on the button first and that triggers the form.

    Hello Everaert,

I understand that the Facebook Pixel is still being triggered and bypassing the conditions that were added, let me see if there are other ways to solve this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hello Everaert,

Unfortunately, after a few tests, there is no existing feature that prevents the Facebook Pixel from tagging your form submissions. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
