    Hi,

I think my request is not understood.

    When a user selects :

PB de mise en page à la généreation du PDF Image 1 Screenshot 80 Screenshot 30

Then a widget appearance condition is activated.

The problem is that all widgets appear in pdf documents

Even those which are not completed despite the explanations you gave above.

    I attach a document for example :

    Hi Stéphane,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned and tested your form, and I was able to replicate the issue. After investigating it a bit, I found a solution. You can change the "Clear Hidden Field Values" to "Clear When Submitted" in the form settings. This will hide the values of the hidden widgets when they are not filled. Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, go to Settings at the top.
    2. Under Form Settings, click Show More Options.
    3. Scroll down to Clear Hidden Field Values and change it to Clear when submitted.

    Hi Stéphane,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm very sorry for the confusion. What I meant earlier about the "Hide empty form fields" was that it should be checked. After doing that, please try to preview the PDF to see the changes. Check out my example below:

I'm really sorry but I don't get the same result as you.

I checked the 2 options but the unused widgets remain displayed in the pdf....

I can't reproduce your result which corresponds to what I want!

    Hi Stéphane,

The idea behind the hiding of the fields in the PDF is based on whether the field contains any details or not. If the field has information, it will appear. But if it does not, then it will be hidden.

Based on your screenshot, it seem that you are viewing the submission on the PDF editor page. Generally, the labels will just appear there as a placeholder but when you download the actual PDF file, these empty fields should not appear.

You can try downloading the PDF submission and let us know which ones are still appearing after this.

As soon as we hear back from you we'll help you more with this.
