Champ RGPD ne fonctionne pas

    Bonjour,

    Il semblerait que le champ RGPD permettant de collecter le consentement avant que les contacts soient intégrés automatiquement dans notre base emailing MailChimp ne fonctionne pas.

    Le formulaire semble pourtant bien configuré : https://form.jotform.com/232550695227055

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

    Now, let me help you with your question. In MailChimp, you need to select Form Builder to create the form;

    Hi,

    The Form Builder allows to create a registration form with an RGPD field in Mailchimp. However, for technical reasons, we have used a Jotform form that is connected to Mailchimp using the widget available in the Integration tab.

    Only visitors who tick the box ‘I would like to receive a regular dose of travel inspiration with updates, tips and holiday offers from New Caledonia Tourism’ should be added to our mailing list.

    We have configured the integration with Mailchimp by choosing the question corresponding to the consent collection, but all contacts who have filled in the form will be added to Mailchimp (and not only those who have ticked the box).

    Thanks for getting back to us. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    Can you try to remove your current integration and add back again? Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

    Hi Manon,

    I tested your form again, this time with Marketing Permissions enabled. And I was able to replicate the issue. Can you try to change your integration settings? Check out my screenshot below:

    Can you go ahead and try it again and let us know how it goes? If the same thing happens again, we'll investigate it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

    What is the difference with the Maketing permission field?

    Choosing the option "Send the contacts to Mailchimp only if user agrees" adds a new question to the form.

    Hi Manon,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you check the box for newsletters, the submission should sync. If it is empty, it should not be added to MailChimp. Only if users agree, add a checkbox to your form to allow them to choose if they want to be added to your contact list.
