Problem with DMARC when responding with custom SMTP

    Merci.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.  Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, Jotform does not have DMARC or SPF settings, you may need to add Jotform mechanisms to your SPF record. But, a better solution would be to utilize an SMTP or verified email server to send your emails. This way, it is ensured that the messages will pass the DMARC check. Here's how:

    1. Hover your mouse over to your Avatar.
    2. Select Settings to open your Account Settings.

3.Scroll down, go to the Sender Email option, then click Edit.

    4. Select the Add Sender Email button.

    5. Next, enter your SMTP details. Once done, click on Send Test Email to check if everything is working. If it's successful, then click on Add Email.

    Hi Simon,

Thank you for contacting us. We don't have a DKIM Authentication option. We only provide SMTP option.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help.

Hey I did all things about SMTP and I use this option!!! I receive sucessfull message when testing but the my server refuse it since Google and Yahoo ask to make DMARC policy when sending many email so please I need Jotform DKIM Key to provide it at my host provider to get things working.

If you don't know it's not a problem, may be somebody with higher skills than you will know... you can't know everything, take action and ask for help.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for getting back to us with these details. SPF, DKIM, DMARC should be already passed for the email sent by Jotform default sender email address. Can you ask your email service provider to whitelist our IP addresses and Domains? You can find these IPs and domain name in the following guide.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for getting back to us. Regarding the delivery issue on the emails sent via SMTP, I would suggest that you check the status of the emails with your IT/Admin or with your email service provider to see what happened to the email notifications sent through your form submissions. In the meantime, you can use noreply@jotform.com as your sender email.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
