Hello again Victor,
Sure, you can restrict who can fill out your form. We’ll just need to set your form’s Access Settings to Private. This means that only people who you invite can access your form after they sign into their Jotform Account. It’s easy to set up. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Click on Settings and click on Private Form and select your permission.
- Next, enter the email addresses for the people you want the form to be sent to.
- Click on Submit & View to select the permission type, and then click on Send Invitation. That’s it. You’re done.
After you invite people to fill in your form, they’ll receive an email that has a View Form button:
When they click on that button, they’ll be asked to log in to their Jotform Account or they’ll need to create a Jotform Account to fill in your form:
After they sign in/log in to Jotform with the email address they were invited with, they’ll be able to fill in your form.
Alternatively, you can also restrict who can fill out your form. We’ll just need to enable Password Protection for that. This means that people you send the form link to can only access your form after they enter the password that you share with them. Setting it up is easy. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page and click on Show More Options.
- Next, scroll down to Password Protection, and put a check in the box next to it.
- Now, enter the password that you want to use and that’s it. You’re done.
Now, anyone who wants to access your form will have to enter the password you gave them:
Reach out again if there is anything else we can help you with.
