PDF Editor: online form date format is different in PDF report

Bonjour,

J'ai un problème sur le paramétrage de la date sur l'un de nos PDF.

Sur le formulaire relié, j'ai bien paramétré le format de la date et elle s'affiche également correctement dans mes différents mails de notifications.

Cependant, quand je l'intègre sur mon PDF, elle change de format :

Ce qui est embêtant car en français ce format est erroné.

Avez-vous une idée de comment résoudre ce problème ?

Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. The date format, that's set in the online form, may not be carried over to the PDF copy. To be able to fix this, you'll need to change the date format from the PDF editor, and the change will be applied to all submissions.

• In the PDF Editor, click the gear icon to go to the "Datetime" settings.
• Select the format you'd like on the date.

This could have been a good idea but my problem is that I don't use the form fields directly but the text field in which I include the form fields. I don't know if it's clear?

I do this because the PDF is not a summary of our form but a letter that we send after validation to the person who filled in the form.

So I don't know if it's possible to change the date format. Do you have an idea ?

Thanks for getting back to us with these details. Unfortunately, it is actually not possible to change the format of the date field that is added within the Text field. I'll escalate this as a feature request to our developers, but I can't say when or if will this be implemented. If there is any update, we will inform you here.

For now, as w workaround, you can add a hidden Form Calculation widget to the form and set it to get the value from the date field as a String (brown color) and inset this field in your Text field, instead of the Date field. It's easy, let me show you how.

1. In the Form Builder, go to the Form Elements panel and, in the Widgets tab, select the Form Calculation widget.
2. Click on its wander icon.
3. In the Form Calculation Widget panel, click on the blue button Add Field and select the Date element for which the date format is already properly set.
4. Click on the black part of this field to make it brown and displaying A-Z, to be displayed as a string.

That's it, this calculation field is ready to replace the date field in the Text field according to your needs.
