SESSION FORMAT DESCRIPTIONS: (45-minutes to 1-hour)
Plenary: Keynote speaker or expert speaker panel of two to three speakers with a formal presentation on a broad topic relevant to the entire conference delegation. Session will be 45 minutes in duration.
Year in Review: Annual updates or highlights of research, technology or education within one area of interventional pulmonary or advanced bronchoscopy
State-of-the-Art Review: current state of knowledge about a topic and future direction for research with a discussion of how the understanding of the particular topic has changed over time
Panel Discussion: An expert panel of 3-4 speakers on a topic area with brief presentations followed by moderated discussion
Meet the Professor: Sessions with renowned researchers and clinicians that allow the exchange on knowledge via brief and meaningful presentations and informal discussions.
Problem or Case-Based Learning: learner-centered session with one-on-one interaction between participants and speakers as they build their knowledge and work together as a group to examine the case or problem
How I do it: A panel of renowned experts who discuss their approach to a clinical problem/disease state or clinical case
Pro-Con Debate: Practical questions and controversies are explored by expert presentation of opposing views
