Quilt Town USA!
Enjoy visiting (or crafting) in a 56-person luxury motorcoach equipped with reclining
seats, overhead storage, WIFI, overhead/under-bay luggage (or shopping bag) storage,
and a restroom during the two-hour drive to Hamilton, Missouri affectionately known as
“Quilt Town USA.”
While the Missouri Star Quilt Company main shop is the jewel in the
crown, there are 15 sewing and craft shops within a few city blocks (including the new
“Fabric Market” opening in July). Upon arrival, each guest will be greeted with a
Hamilton Zippered Eco Tote and pattern, lanyard, map of the town, brochures, and
miscellaneous swag.
There will be time to stop in the tea shop for a pick-me-up, grab
lunch at one of the venues, and poke your head into any shop that catches your eye.
For the quilting fanatic, our visit happens in the middle of the All Missouri Shop Hop so
you will also receive the MSQC stamp and quilt square.
Not a quilter? You could tour
the J.C. Penney Museum, visit Levi Garrison & Sons Brewery, wander through the antique shop, add to your knitting/crocheting stash at One Big
Happy Yarn Co, all while strolling through the quaint Hamilton Downtown Historic
District, established in the early 19 th century.
