Thank you for contacting White Rock Dog Rescue! We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Completion of this form does not guarantee adoption.

Adoption fees range from $350 for young dogs and $300 for adult dogs.

The adoption fee includes all required vaccines, sterilization, and microchipping. Heartworm and flea preventatives are included with each vaccination visit.

Adoption fees are due prior to the home trial visit. They are not collected on this form. Submitting this form is the best way to arrange a meet and greet with the dog and get answers to your questions.
The application typically takes fewer than ten minutes to complete. However, we request photos and videos of your property (the yard, the fenceline, and where the dog will sleep). Please complete this form while you are at home.

Hey, young one! We're jealous. We don't mean to get preachy, but owning a dog is a big financial and time commitment. Can you confirm that you can provide a secure forever home for your new pet? Another option would be to volunteer to FOSTER a dog.*

As a foster, you would provide a rescue dog with a safe, loving environment until we find them a perfect forever home.

We provide our fosters with all necessary supplies, including food and a crate for the dog.

In return, we ask that our fosters assist with transportation to all required vetting appointments.

You'll get to meet a variety of dogs, have all your expenses paid, and not have to commit to full-time "parenthood" until you're ready.

I understand that White Rock Dog Rescue (WRDR) reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this questionnaire, the virtual home check, and applicant interviews.*
While White Rock Dog Rescue (WRDR) has made every effort to provide an accurate history and assessment of the dog, WRDR cannot guarantee the dog's age, breed, medical status, history, behavior, or disposition. The APPLICANT releases WRDR and its VOLUNTEERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES of any possible claims arising from injury or damage caused by the dog to any person or property or relating to the health or temperament of the dog. The APPLICANT accepts the dog and assumes all risk for the dog during the home trial and any resulting adoption upon submission of this application.*
I understand that White Rock Dog Rescue (WRDR) does not reimburse for any expenses related to the dog during a home trial or after adoption unless pre-approved in writing and that any dog belonging to White Rock Dog Rescue must be pre-approved for any vet visit during the home trial period. I UNDERSTAND THAT AN ADOPTION IS NOT CONSIDERED FINAL UNTIL I PAY THE ADOPTION FEE, SIGN AND SUBMIT THE ADOPTION CONTRACT, AND FULFILL ALL CONTRACT OBLIGATIONS. This includes sterilization of the dog. *

Virtual Home Visit
The last step of our screening process is a brief virtual home check.

Please send a short video of your fenced yard capturing the entire perimeter of the fence. (We just want to ensure the yard is secure so your new pup can't get loose!)

Apartment dwellers may substitute a video of where the dog will get daily exercise. (dog park, walking path...)

Next, upload a picture of the main room where your family spends time together. We are looking for a good match between the living space and the mature size of the dog.

Lastly, we would like to see where the dog will sleep.

- agree to sterilize and vaccinate all their animals.
