Smart PDF: The original PDF didn't come in the email, and I can't download it either.

    Hello,

    The forms attached to my form are not arriving in my email either and I can't even download them by searching for them in the Jotform database.

    Hi Raul,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m really sorry that this is happening. I cloned your form to try to replicate the issue at hand. As shown in the screencast below, when the total email content size does not exceed 5 MB, the attachment is included in the email notification. Unfortunately, we are unable to change this as it was set by the system and mail server.

    The 5 MB limit applies to the total size of the email's content, which includes email content, upload files, and a PDF attachment, and if it is exceeded, no files are attached to your notification email at all. You can also increase the limit by using a Custom SMTP Sender, in which case the attachment limit is determined by the email provider you use.

    You can also disable the Send Upload as Attachment option in your Notification Email. When you disable this option, uploaded files will no longer attach to your email alert, lowering your email limit and ensuring that you always receive the PDF with the submission.

    • Simply open your form in Form Builder, then go to the Settings tab and select Emails. Then, select the Edit Notification option.
    • Then, on the Advanced tab, toggle Send Uploads as Attachment to 'No'.
