How to access the form in a secure way?

HI ...i would like to ask if there are a way to manage the form in a security way. i am concerned because if we have a public form ..someone unauthorized can insert register in the table.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can restrict form access by enabling Password Protection. Only people with the password you share will be able to access the form. It's easy to set up. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

2. Then, click on Show More Options. 

3. Next, scroll down to Password Protection and click on the Checkbox next to Enable Password Protection.

4. Then enter the password that you want to use, and that’s it. You’re done.

Now, anyone who wants to access your form will need to enter the password:

iam working with a energy distribution company where i am suguesting to use jotform as solution , for digital forms. Unfortunataly by law in chile the energy companies has hight standar in system security. i am afraid that just a commun password , by form, its not enough for achieve those standard.

Do you know wich can be the riaght way to face this challenge?

Since you have a Public form, the password-protected option would be best. It will ask for a password to be able to access the form. You just need to set up a strong password by following the guide provided by my colleague above. Is there a specific option you're trying to do? hi cristian... the password is for each form..it's not for each user..that is the issue!! it's a weak security option
