Hi TU_hipotek,
Just to clarify, form fillers should fill out Form A where they can enter their ID number. Then, when they fill out Form B, the ID number and the other data that they entered in Form A will be prefilled in Form B, is that right? If yes, you can use the Prefill features to achieve this. I can walk you through setting that up:
1. In Form A's Form Builder, click on Add Element in the upper-left corner of the page.
2. Under the Basic tab, select Short Text field.
3. Label is as ID Number.
Next, you can open Form B's Form Builder page, so we can set up the Prefill features. Let's do it:
1. In Form B's Form Builder, click on Publish in the orange navigation bar at the top part of the page.
2. Go to Prefill, and select Form Prefill.
3. From the dropdown, select Form A.
4. Map the fields that you want to prefill.
5. Click on Save Settings.
6. Click on the Add a New Prefill button, and select the submission data that should be prepopulated.
7. Click on the Create button in the upper-right corner of the page.
8. To share Form B with the form filler, click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the Prefill template, and select Send Invitation.
9. Enter a message if you want, and click on the Send Invitation button.
Check out the screencast below to see how it works:
If that’s not exactly what you want to achieve, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better on this?
As soon as we hear back from you, we can help you with this.
