Hi Alejandro,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to save the uploaded PDF file to an Airtable database. However, you can achieve this by using integrations with tools like Zapier and Google Drive.
You will need to integrate your form into Google Drive Integration. This will save the PDF version of each submission to Google Drive. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder. click on Setting and select Integration on the left side panel.
- Select Google Drive Integration and Authenticate your Account.
- Setup the PDF and don't forget to select File Upload Field in "Send uploaded fields to Google Drive"
- Then, click Save.
Check out the screenshot of the result below:
Here's how you can use Zapier to create a "Zap" that connects Jotform and Airtable. Let me walk you through it:
- Sign up for Zapier and create a new Zap.
- Select Jotform as the trigger app and choose "New Form Submission" as the trigger event.
- Connect your Account and click Continue.
- Select the Form you want to get the PDF File.
- Make a Test to see if the Zap is working properly.
- After that, select Airtable as the action app and choose "Create Record" as the action event.
- Map the Fields from your Jotform Submission to the corresponding fields in your Airtable database.
