How to send an approval based on a user input amount?

Hola!

Quisiera saber si es posible que el formulario llegue a un validador dependiendo de una cantidad, es decir, cuando no supere determinado monto ($) esta solicitud no deberá pasar a validación por Dirección (edgar.serrano@merun.mx) si no que solo con la validación de luis.santamaria@merun.mx se apruebe y cuando supere determinado monto ($) entonces si tenga que forzosamente pasar por validación de Dirección (edgar.serrano@merun.mx)

Now, coming back to your question, yes, your workflow is possible. But, you must add a Number field in your form, so you can create a Greater Than/Less Than condition in your Approval Flow.

No me da la opción "igual o menor que", solo entiendo que me permite si le escribo determinado monto y si solo trae ese monto entonces paran a este validador (luis.santamaria@merun.mx)

Como se debe indicar para que: si las solicitudes son de $0 y hasta $2,000 le lleguen solo a luis.santamaria@merun.mx y no requieran la validación de edgar.serrano@merun.mx ?

y si superan los $2,001 entonces pasen directo a edgar.serrano@merun.mx

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. Upon review, I noticed that your Costo field is currently a short text element. As my colleague mentioned, you will need to add a Number field to your form. This will allow you to create Greater Than/Less Than conditions in your Approval Flow. Let me show you how to add a Number element to your form:

1. In Smart PDF Form, click on Add Form Elements.
2. Under Basic, drag and drop the Number to add it to your form. That's it.

Thanks for getting back to us. I can see that you've applied the 'Greater Than/Less Than condition' on both of the conditions in your screenshot. Both conditions will only be activated if the conditions that you've set are met. That means, you'll need to decide if you want to keep that current flow or revise it. That's the same with "All" and "Any". If you set the condition to "All", all the conditions that you set must be met for the condition to be activated. And if you set the condition to "Any", any conditions that are met will activate the condition. This all boils down on how you want to create your Approval Flow. Once you've made a decision on how you want to the Approval Flow to be, check our guides on this page about Jotform Approvals.

Muchas gracias, ya hemos decidido como se aprobará, de momento me pudieras decir si es correcta la programación? esta se pretende que: cada formulario enviado... debe obedecer a:

Aprobará dependiendo a que supervisor se seleccionó entre luis.santamaria@merun.mx y arturo.lopez@merun.mx (gerentes) siempre y cuando sean montos menores que $2,001 .

Y

Si supera los $2,000 no importa quien sea el supervisor, el formulario deberá ser aprobado por edgar.serrano@merun.mx (dirección)
