    Hi David,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

    Now, coming back to your question, users will only be charged after they submit the form. If you want to accept payments before users fill out the rest of the form, you can create two separate forms. First, set up the payment form, then redirect users to the second form from the Thank You Page after they submit the first form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Thank You Page in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. Now, click on the Radio button next to Redirect to External Link After Submission.

    4. Finally, enter the URL of the second form in the text box under Enter URL.

    Additionally, to track the same submission from the same person from Form 1 to Form 2, you can add a Unique ID widget on Form 1 and pass its value to a Short Text field in the second form using URL parameters. For example, you can paste this URL to the landing page in the redirect settings:

    https://form.jotform.com/232256177587062?uniqueId={uniqueId}

    Feel free to test or clone my demo form to see how it was set up. This guide will show you how to do that. You might also want to check out this guide about How to Automatically Pass Form Data to Another Form.

    Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
