Correo de notificación: No se envían a dominios Hotmail

    Saludos, tengo un problema, cuando haho un envio a un correo con dominio de microsoft(hotmail, outlook, live) los correos nunca llegan. Solo los correos dirigidos al servidor de gmail. que puedo hacer?

    Gracias por contactarte con el equipo de soporte de Jotform. Si te refieres al formulario 241144519176052, he revisado la configuración del correo de notificación y solo pude encontrar un destinatario (Gmail), como puedes ver a continuación:

    creo que no me supe explicar bien, yo coloco un correo electronico en mi formulario del destinatario, y cuando hago el envio, no le llega una copia a ese destinatario, solo si el dominio es de gmail. si es de hotmail, outlook, live, no le llega nada.

    Now, coming back to your question, are you referring to this email field?

    If so, I checked your form, and I saw that you have not set up any Autoresponder Email - this is the email that is sent to the users after they submit the form.

    But, if you are referring to the Notification Email, which is an email that you receive after the form is submitted, have you tried checking our guide about Why Am I Not Receiving Notification Emails? You can also Whitelist our IP Addresses and Domains in the emails that did not receive the Notifications.

    Once we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

    I am referring specifically to that email, the one sent to users. When I put a gmail email, the users receive the email. but when I place one, for example @hotmail.com, it never reaches the user.

    Hi aaicinformatica,

    Thanks for getting back to us. Most of the time, this issue can be resolved by setting up your SMTP as the Sender Email. Let me show you how:

    1. Click here to sign in to your Google account and access the App Password Generator.

    2. In the list of available apps, click on Mail.

    3. In the device list, click on Other.

    4. Enter your Custom Name, such as Jotform.

    5. Click on the Generate button.

    6. *Copy and save the password to your computer.

    7. Finally, click the Done button.

    *It is very important that you save the password to your computer so you can use it again later. If you don't save it, you'll have to generate a new one again because Google doesn't let users view their passwords after they click the Done button.

    Now, to add the Sender email:

    1. Go to your My Account page, and click on Settings, or visit here directly.

    2. Click on the Add Sender Email button.

    3. Enter the following information:

    • Email Address: {your email address}
    • Hostname: smtp.gmail.com
    • Port: 587
    • Username: {your Gmail address}
    • Password: {your Gmail or app-specific password}
    • Security Protocol: TLS

    4. When you're finished, click on the Send Test Email button to make sure that everything is working. If it works, click on the Add Email button. If not, please check the details again and correct any errors.

    After your SMTP is set up, you can select it as the Sender Email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings from the top bar menu, and click on Emails from the left panel menu.
    2. Then, hover your mouse over the Notification Email, and click on the Pencil icon.
    3. Next, go to the Advanced tab, select your SMTP in the Sender Email options, and click on Save.

    Make the changes in the email that it tells me, the system accepts them. but I still don't receive emails to hotmail addresses.

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form, and it shows here that you only have 1 email address in the Email Recipient. Check out this screenshot below:

    Please add the email addresses of the individuals that you want to receive a notification after the form is submitted, and click on Save. Keep in mind that clicking the Test Email button on the left side of the page will only email the email address associated with the account. If you want to test to see if the email addresses are indeed receiving the Notification Email, you will need to send a test submission to your live form.
