Hiding options based on the response of another field

    Gracias!

    Hi info29,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our Spanish Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in Spanish, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, it is not possible to display certain options in a single or multiple choice field based on the user's reply. We can only hide or show the entire field. Could you further elaborate on what you're looking for so that we can suggest an alternative?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Si, sería en este, https://form.jotform.com/240617408188056

Poder mostrar para cada zona, solo alguno de los cultivos, los que se van a realizar en esa zona, no todos.

    Saludos

    Hi info29,

Thanks for getting back to us. If I understood what you're asking, if I select a place in the dropdown, you want to only show the options that can be grown in that place? If so, as my colleague mentioned, it is not possible to display certain options based on the user's response using a single choice. What I would recommend is that you include a long text element in your form and populate it with the crop that can be grown in that location. However, you have to set up an Update/Calculate field condition for each option in the dropdown. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, select Add Form Element in the upper-left corner.
    2. In the Form Elements pane on the left, select Long Text.
    3. Select your Long Text’s gear icon to open properties.
    4. Go to Advance tab and toggle Read Only.

On the sample below, I added a condition so that if Barrios is selected in the dropdown, the long text will be populated for the crop that can be grown at that location. Let me walk you through it:

    1. Go to Settings at the top.
    2. Select Conditions on the left.
    3. Add a new Update/Calculate Field condition.

Then, create a condition like the one in the screenshot:
