Edit Submission Before Approval

What I also noticed is that when I get the email that a user wants to borrow something, I have the 'edit link' on one side and the buttons for approve or reject on the other. So I have to click on the edit button first to select the checkboxes for the respective items and then back into the email again to approve it?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The edit is optional if you want to make some changes to the submission before approving it. You can also approve or deny the submission directly without editing the submission.

The question was extracted from a support request and is therefore completely out of context. In my original question, I just mentioned that I need to change the submission.
