    Hallo Support,

    Hi fdarwish352,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. We have a feature with the name Prefill. This feature provides a way of prepopulating your form with data from your forms, tables or third-party providers. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

We use the form I've sent you to onboard new clients for our social media recruiting agency. Obviously every client is very individual therefore the prefill tool is no option. We would want a feature that allows a client to open the form, fill in some information, safe the information he already typed in, close the form unfinished and then come back later and finish whenever he feels like doing so. Is there a possibility that allows for a procedure like that?

    Hi fdarwish352,

Thanks for getting back to us. You can use Save and Continue later feature on your form. Let me show you how:

    • Open your form In the Form Builder and select Submit button’s gear icon Formulare zwischenspeichern Image 1 Screenshot 30
    • In the Properties pane on the right, Click on the Advanced tab
    • Turn on Save And Continue Later.Formulare zwischenspeichern Image 2 Screenshot 41

We also have a guide about How to enable Save and Continue Later that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
