    Ich muss das umfangreiche Jotform-Formular eines Energieberaters online ausfüllen und will nun eine Zwischenspeicherung vornehmen. Aber keine der angebotenen Anmeldungen klappt und auch nicht die andere Lösung über einen Zugangscode zum Dokument.

    Ich bekomme Fehlermeldungen wie in den eingefügten Screenshots unten.

    Ich hatte vorige Woche schon mal begonnen in Firefox und dachte, es läge vllt am Browser. Heute in Chrome noch mal von vorne führte aber nur zu den gleichen unerklärlichen Problemen. Was ist da los? Was muss ich tun, um das Speicherproblem zu lösen?

    Ich hatte übrigens vorige Woche einen Account bei Jotform angemeldet, der aber auch nicht die Lage verbessert. Das Abspeichern funktioniert einfach nicht.

    thank you very much for picking up this issue so fast.

     

     

    a) I can't view the thread, I get to 404: "Unfortunately, the page you were looking for could not be found. It may be temporarily unavailable, moved or no longer exists. Please check your spelling and retry." The same happens when I click on "My request" directly from your website.

     

    b) Yes, I'm referring to the website you have linked to.

    Thanks for getting back to us. You should be logged in to the account where the ticket was created to be able to view this thread.

    Also, I checked the website, and I was able to access it. When you save the form to fill out at a later time, it will send the link to your email to continue filling out. Please also ensure that the domain of your email is valid and correct.

    Okay, here I am (I had still seen my avatar, so I thought I was still logged in).

    Google window says:

    "Access denied: The app's request is invalid. / You cannot log in because this app has sent an invalid request ... Error 400: redirct_uri_mismatch"

    Thanks for getting back to us. We’re sorry you're having difficulties with this. If your forms are opening or loading slowly, doing a Network test will help us to understand what's going on. Let me show you how:

    1. Open the page you're having the issue with.
    2. Right-click anywhere on the page and then click on *Inspect.
    3. In the new window that opens, click on the *Network tab.

    1. Now, refresh the page you're on using your browser's refresh button or keyboard shortcuts such as CTRL + R or CMD + R.
    2. This will generate some data about the page loading time under the Network tab. 
    3. Once the page reloads, take a screenshot or a screencast of this section and send it to us. This guide will show you how to do that.

    If you keep having the same problem, we'll create a performance ticket and forward it to our developers.

    Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    There are some interruptions in the download of all resources. Moreover, not all requests seem to have been executed (previously there had been already handled more requests, as you see very shortly at the beginning).

    Thanks for getting back to us. Can you try to change your network connection? Can you try changing your browser, such as Chrome or incognito mode? Can you give it another try and let us know what happens? If you're still having the same issue, we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution. I cleared your form cache as well. Although caches aren't cleared automatically, it's easy to do it manually. Let me show you how:

    • On your My Forms page, hover your mouse on your Profile Avatar icon.
    • In the window that opens, click on Settings.

    • In the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Clear Cache. That's it, you're done.

    Okay, it still does not work.

    I changed my Browser from Chrome to Opera Private. I cleared the cache. With still the same result …

    To get into the settings, I first had to enter a security code—I did, and it took a very long time, almost a minute, to complete the processing. 

    “Network connection”? I think you mean my WLAN? This I can't change. I don't think my WLAN causes any trouble. I haven't had this kind of difficulty with any other login process for a long time, maybe never had.

    P.S. There should be a photo in my last post. Took about over a minute until it appeared.

    P.P.S. I was kicked out of the forum in between and had to re-register, which again required me to enter a security code. This processing of the code also took a very long time. 

    P.P.P.S. Sending the posting also took quite a while.

    Thanks for getting back to us. Before escalating your concern, can you try to reset your account password? Resetting your Jotform account password is easy to do. Let me take you through it:

    1. Go to the Jotform Main Page and click on Login.

    2. On the login screen, click on Forgot Password.

    3. Enter your email address and then click on Send Reset Instructions.

    4. You'll get an email with instructions about how to reset your password. In the email, click on Reset Password.

    5. Enter your new password, enter it again to verify it, and then click on Create a New Password.

    Your new password is now set and you can use it to log into your Jotform account.

    Done this. Still the same results. I can't save the form no matter what method I try. Not even without creating an account.

    • It is not my account at Jotform.
    • It is not a problem with the cache.
    • It is not the wrong method.
    • It is not the wrong browser.
    • I will now try another computer ...

    Thanks for getting back to us. To clarify, the issue is saving the draft of the online form you are trying to complete? Also, you mentioned in your first inquiry, about an access code, the access code is only sent when there's an unusual login attempt to another Jotform account that's currently log in. I am trying to figure out the start of the issue. Does the error happen when you click the save button?

    In this case, you might need to reach out to the form owner and relay the issue happening on his website that prevents you to successfully save the draft of the application you are trying to complete. By default, when you save a draft online, you have the option to skip the account creation process. Or were you able to save the draft after signing up to create an account with Jotform?

    After clicking the option to Skip Create an Account, you can still get a copy of your draft either by email or by saving a copy by clicking the Get Draft Link.

    We strongly recommend that you should access the draft on the same web browser where it was originally created.

    2. "Does the error happen when you click the save button?" No, that occured on your page. I also observed unusually long processing times on your site where I signed up for support access.

    3. "By default, when you save a draft online, you have the option to skip the account creation process." I have tried this option everywhere as well. This leads to the message: "Your submission couldn't be saved. Please try again."

    4. "Or were you able to save the draft after signing up to create an account with Jotform?" No. Whether I log in to Jotform.com before saving or not is irrelevant.

    By the way, when I just returned to the forum after a few hours, I did not know whether I am still logged in or not, because I had noticed before that I did not notice it when I just returned to the tab in question. I therefore triggered a refresh, and now I see all the time a process that does not come to an end:

    Okay, the last one had been the first one ;) This appeared right after getting to the formular.

    I'm not aware of any tracking prevention - I allowed "all".

    Thanks for sharing additional information about the issue. I'm sorry to hear that you are still having issues using the form. I tested the embedded form and confirmed that Save and Continue Later feature is not working. However, when I test the form directly, it works as expected. Here's a screenshot of the working form:
