Falscher Absendername für eigene SMTP-Absenderadresse

Hallo,

ich habe eine SMTP-Absenderadresse angelegt. Der Absendername wird entgegen dem eingetragenen Absendername mit Jotform angegeben. Wie kann ich Absendername beim Versand über eine eigene SMTP-Absenderadresse einstellen?

Beim Versand über Jotform wird der unter Empfänger eingetragene Absendername verwendet.

Now, let me help you with your question. You can change the sender's name of your notification email by going to the Recipients tab of the email template. Let me show you how:

1. On your Form Builder, go to Settings and select Email.
2. Hover your mouse over your notification email and click on the pencil icon.
3. After that, go to the Recipients tab and open the dropdown to change the sender name.
4. Finally, hit on save to save changes.

The form I use is 232402218499356. As I can see there is a different behavior of the recipient form item between the notification and the automatic answer setup. In automatic answer section I can’t select a value by a drop down. I have entered the name of the sender, but in the mail sent by Jotform the sender is called “Jotform”.

Any clue?

Thanks for getting back to us. After checking your form, I have cloned your form to try and replicate the issue but I wasn't able to.

As you can see, the sender name shows properly on my end. Can you please try removing the autoresponder email and add it again on your form to see if the issue persists on your end?
