    Liebes Team,

ist es möglich, über die App, welche erstellt wurde, auch PUSH-Nachrichten auf die Geräte zu übermitteln, welche "meine" App herunterladen?

    Vielen Dank

    Dear Team,

is it possible to use the app that was created to also send PUSH messages to the devices that download "my" app?

    Thank you

    Hi landestrachtenverband,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Currently, sending push messages/notifications to users who downloaded your app is not available. But I do think this is a great feature to be implemented so I have escalated this as a feature request to our developers. Just note that when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Hi,

We would like to give you the latest improvements. We have implemented the Push Notification feature for Jotform Apps, but please note that this feature is currently in Beta.

You can now send push notifications, display a custom permission modal, and track your apps metrics through Jotform Apps. Let me show you how to do it:

    • In App Builder, click on Settings in the purple navigation bar at the top of the page. Then, on the left side of the page, click on Push Notifications.
    • After that, toggle Enable Push Notifications option to On position.
    • Now, you can edit Notification Title and Content. After that, you can send it by clicking on Send.

You can also edit your permission request message that displays in the app. Here’s how to do that:

    • Click on Edit Permission Request under Enable Push Notifications section and then you can change the title and contents of the permission request.

You can also view the metrics of your notifications under the Push Notification History section. This section contains metrics such as how many subscribers you have, how many of them clicked on the sent notification, etc.

Please note that you’re only able to send these notifications if the app users allow them after adding the app to their home screen.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.
