Where to find the PayPal payments?

    Guten Tag,

    ich kann leider nichts darüber finden, wie lange eine Autorisierung dauert, wenn jemand eine Überweisung an mein Paypal Konto getätigt hat. Der Status in Paypal lautet: Autorisierung in Bearbeitung. Wer bearbeitet das und wie lange dauert es bis das Geld final auf meinem Paypal Konto ist?

    Hi Haas_Jennyfer,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'd like to let you know that I am using a translation tool to provide assistance but if you would prefer to get assistance in German language, we can forward your ticket to our German support team. However, please note that it could take longer to receive a response. 

    Jotform provides the form however for the payment received please reach out to PayPal directly. Usually the payment received should appear on your PayPal balance. When I checked your payment integration, it seems you are using a different account for your Paypal integration. Please login to PayPal using the same email address. Let me show you how to know which email address is linked to PayPal.

    1. On your Form builder access the form element menu on the left side and click on Payments.

    2. Go to the Payment tab, click on the three dot icon next to PayPal Personal and select Payment Settings.

    3. The payment integration settings should appear showing the linked email addres.

    Login to your PayPal account with the email address showing as your PayPal account. If the payment does not reflect on your PayPal account, please make sure that your PayPal account is verified. Also, please reach out to PayPal to verify if your PayPal account is active and able to receive payments.

    Dear Rhina,

    thank you so much for your support. I will answer in English. The email adress to my Paypal is correct and the Paypemnts are shown in my Paypal Account. But only with an additional Information: Authorisation in progress.

    However, I went to the settings as kindly descriped by you and what I saw is, that I mistakenly set the buttom for "Only with Authorisation". Please see picture attached. Its only in German but I hope you know what I mean. I just now, set it form YES to NO! Will this have any impact afterwards or do I still need to contact Paypal?

    Hallo Jennyfer,

    vielen Dank, dass Sie sich an den Jotform Support gewandt haben. Zahlungen, die vor Ihrer Umstellung als „Nur mit Autorisierung“ erfasst wurden, müssen in Ihrem PayPal Konto erfasst und eingezogen werden. Auch hat die Umstellung nachträglich keinen Einfluss auf die bereits erfassten Bestellungen. Bedenken Sie, dass Autorisierungen im PayPal Konto in der Regel nach 29/30 Tagen ablaufen. Hier finden Sie mehr zu diesem Thema auf der PayPal Webseite.
